Liquid Fill SystemsAmerican Controls Inc. designs and manufactures custom automated liquid dispense systems for the Automotive and Chemical Process Industries as well as Municipalities and Fleet Operators. We specialize in automated dispensing hazardous (flammable and explosive) liquids. Examples are fuel filling on automotive assembly lines. Engine oil, windshield washer, transmission and axle fill systems, and most recently Diesel Emission Fluid (DEF).

ACI was founded in 1969 by Mr. Al Maass to (1) Provide a source for pumps and meters as a distributorship and (2) design and manufacture automated liquid handling systems for the automotive assembly line. ACI is an established company and a Tier 1 Supplier to the automotive manufacturers.

There are few companies in this industry that provide the type of equipment that ACI provides. There are few that have the expertise to design automation of liquid handling systems, especially for hazardous materials.

ACI has a unique expertise for designing reliable systems and therefore, can provide the most updated technology in liquid process systems. ACI is small enough to provide very competitive pricing because of lower overhead costs.

Our newest development is Diesel Emissions Fluid (DEF) dispense equipment for truck and bus fleets for municipalities and truck fleet operators. DEF is required on all diesel vehicles manufactured from 2010. This is an EPA requirement. There will be increasing demand for DEF equipment for the next 5-7 years while the infrastructure is being established.
